DiNapoli Honors Chinese-American Community Leaders at
Lunar New Year Celebration

State Comptroller Thomas P. DiNapoli honored six individuals for their activism and leadership in the Chinese-American community at a Lunar New Year celebration on February 28, 2013. The event, hosted by DiNapoli, was held at P.S. 124 in Chinatown.

“The Chinese-American community is a significant contributor to New York’s overall economy and plays a critical role in strengthening our city and state,” said DiNapoli. “New York’s diverse population provides wonderful opportunities to recognize and share in the contributions of varied cultures.  I am pleased to honor these valuable contributions during my Lunar New Year celebration, and I look forward to future events commemorating the rich history of Chinese-Americans in New York.”
