Public Service Commission
Y2K Compliance: Consumer Services Complaint Tracking System and HP Operating System The Public Service Commission (PSC) maintains the Consumer Services Complaint Tracking System to track complaints about public utilities. The PSC also maintains a number of automated operating systems that are being made year 2000 compliant through an effort called the HP Operating System. We reviewed the actions taken by PSC in attempting to ensure that the activities related to the HP Operating System and the activities dependent on the Consumer Services Complaint Tracking System are not significantly disrupted because of data processing difficulties related to the year 2000. We found PSC is taking many of the actions needed to prevent such difficulties.
