New York City Agencies: Business Continuity and Information Technology Disaster Recovery Plans The New York City Technology Steering Committee is composed of certain designated City officials. The Committee is responsible for coordinating and overseeing New York City’s technology strategies. We audited the manner in which New York City ensures that its agencies have adequate business continuity and information technology disaster recovery plans and effective oversight of these plans. We identified the need for certain corrective actions in these areas. So as not to compromise the security of New York City’s data processing operations, our detailed findings and recommendations were not included in our report, but were presented separately to City officials throughout the course of our audit.
