Lincoln Correctional Facility: Selected Payroll Practices (Follow-Up Review)

In our prior audit report 2001-S-23, we found that improvements were needed in certain payroll practices at Lincoln Correctional Facility; for example, time cards were not always submitted on time, medical documentation relating to workers’ compensation claims was sometimes missing, and calculations for workers’ compensation and military leave benefits were sometimes inaccurate. In our follow-up review, we found that Facility officials had made significant progress in implementing our prior audit recommendations.
