Employee Garnishment Refunds

Agency notification of a change in the distribution of garnishment refund checks to employees.
Affected Employees
Employees due a garnishment refund check.
Effective Date(s)
December 8, 2004.
OSC Actions

The Involuntary Deduction Unit will mail garnishment refund checks directly to the employee’s home address. These checks were previously mailed to the agencies for distribution to the employee.

If the check is returned to OSC as undeliverable, OSC will contact the agency for a correct address and request the agency to update the employee’s address accordingly.
