Elected and Appointed Officials Reporting (EAOR)
Regulation 315.4, which more clearly defines the process of reporting elected and appointed officials, became effective August 12, 2009. This regulation adds additional requirements for both employers and elected officials, including an expanded record of work activities, a more detailed resolution and specific time frames within which requirements must be completed.
We have created this online certification reporting program so you can conveniently send us the Standard Work Day & Reporting Resolution and Affidavit of Posting as required by the regulation. By submitting this Standard Work Day & Reporting Resolution and Affidavit of Posting, you are certifying the electronically transmitted data is a true and correct statement for each member reported.
To begin the online certification process, please log on to your online programs. Note: this is a secure site. You must have a username and password to enter. If you use Retirement Internet Reporting (RIR) or the Internet Salary and Service Listing (ISS), use your current RIR or ISS username and password to log on. If you do not have a username and password, email the Employer Participation & Education Unit, call them at 518-474-0167 or contact our Call Center toll-free at 1-866-805-0990.
If you cannot log on, the most common reason is that JavaScript is not enabled. You can use these directions to enable JavaScript. If you have any questions about either the online application or the regulation itself, please view our Elected and Appointed Frequently Asked Questions.
Failure of the elected or appointed official to comply with this new regulation can result in suspension of his/her membership benefits, including credit for service, estimates, tier reinstatements, request for previous service credit and annual member statements. For more information about regulation 315.4 and how to comply with it, please view Reporting Elected & Appointed Officials.
