Retirement Online — Coming Soon

2018 will be a big year for employers. We will be rolling out changes to Retirement Online for employers that will provide more efficient ways for you to conduct business with us. As we perform the system upgrades needed to provide the new reporting and benefit administration tools, there may be changes in the way we process some requests and transactions. We will continue to keep you informed along the way so you have the resources you need. If you have any questions, you can complete our help desk form or call us at 1-844-619-9614.

Getting Ready

We want you to feel confident transitioning your retirement-related work to Retirement Online. There are specific tasks employers must complete before you can start using it for online reporting. Please visit our Getting Started pages for State and Local & Municipal employers to become familiar with the new tools and gain the knowledge you’ll need to use Retirement Online.

Heads Up

As part of our computer system upgrade, we are shutting down the Retiring Employees Acknowledgment Program (REAP) at the end of February and moving those functions over to Retirement Online. During this transition, NYSLRS will reach out to all REAP participants directly for final information for retiring members. Online notifications and processing will become available through Retirement Online in May 2018. Online processing will streamline work by eliminating the dependency on paper and reducing processing time with real-time validation of information.
