Baruch College, School of Business and Public Administration: Selected Financial Controls (Follow-Up Review)

Baruch College offers certain graduate programs in business and public administration that are intended to be financially self-sustaining. In our prior audit report A-4-93, we examined the controls over the revenues and expenditures relating to these programs and found that many improvements were needed. For example, because of various procedural and recordkeeping weaknesses, College officials could not be assured that the revenues and expenditures were fully recorded and properly accounted for. In our follow-up review, we found College officials have made significant progress in addressing the control weaknesses identified in our prior report.
