Contract with Prisoners' Legal Services

The contractor provided legal services to indigent inmates in State correctional facilities. We determined that a refund of $45,658 was due the State from the $7.2 million paid to the contractor, mainly because some of the expenditures claimed by the contractor were not documented or exceeded the amounts allowed by the contract. 95-R-8
