The Office of Children and Family Services (OCFS) often enters into contracts with vendors to collect program-related revenues which they share with OCFS. We examined whether OCFS was maximizing its revenue opportunities and effectively monitoring its revenue contracts. We found that OCFS officials are effectively maximizing contract revenue and monitoring contracts to ensure that all entitled revenue is collected and promptly deposited into the appropriate accounts.
