The Department of Environmental Conservation (Department) is required to comply with certain recycling requirements specified in State and City law, and Executive Order 4, which was issued in April 2008.  We found that the Department was not fully complying with these requirements.  We recommended that a number of improvements be made in the Department’s recycling activities.
