State Office of Homeland Security

Homeland Security Grant (Follow-Up Report)

In audit 2005-R-2, we examined the State Office of Homeland Security’s oversight of about $27 million in federal homeland security grant funds that were provided to New York City. We identified certain areas in which improvements could be made in the controls over the funds. When we followed up on these matters, we found that our audit recommendations had been implemented. Due to the sensitivity of the information, our detailed audit findings and recommendations were not included in either our original audit report or our follow-up report.
