Expenditure of Bio-Terrorism Hospital Preparedness Grant Funds

Each year, the New York City Department of Health and Mental Hygiene receives federal grant funds for the development and implementation of plans to improve the capacity of hospitals to respond to a bio-terrorist attack or the outbreak of an infectious disease requiring mass immunization, treatment, isolation and/or quarantine. We audited the Departmentís use of these funds and found that the funds were used in accordance with grant requirements.
