Availability of Student Computer Resources (Follow-Up Review)

In our initial audit report 2001-S-45, we examined the extent to which computer resources were made available to students at CUNY’s 11 senior colleges. We found that access to computers varied widely from campus to campus. We also found that the Colleges did not make their computer labs available for a sufficient number of hours, and did not provide enough connections to students who used their own computers. We recommended the implementation of a number of best practices at the Colleges. In our follow-up review, we found that progress had been made by the Colleges in implementing the recommendations contained in our initial report.
