Student Computer Resources at University Colleges and Technology Colleges

We examined the management of student computer resources at 12 of SUNY’s 13 university colleges and all six technology colleges. We found that SUNY had not established standards for determining whether the campuses provided their students with adequate access to computer resources and support for these resources. We recommended that such standards be developed and used to monitor the adequacy of the campuses’ student computer resources. We also determined that improvements could be made at some of the campuses to protect student computer workstations against theft and misuse.
