Higher Education Services Corporation - Tuition Assistance Program

Katharine Gibbs School

During the 1998-99 through 2000-2001 academic years, the Katharine Gibbs School certified $20.2 million in Tuition Assistance Program awards. We disallowed $234,305 of these awards because students were incorrectly certified as eligible for the awards. For example, some students received awards even though they did not maintain good academic standing, or did not meet New York State residency requirements.
