Second Judicial District: Richmond County Clerk's Office, Controls Over Revenue Collection

We found that improvements needed to be made in the controls over the revenue received by the Richmond County Clerk’s Office. In particular, related duties needed to be separated so that revenue transactions were not controlled by a single individual, bank reconcilations needed to be performed in accordance with requirements, and better accountability needed to be established over the revenue that was received.
