Battery Park City Authority

Contracting Practices (Follow-Up Review)

Battery Park City Authority was created to supervise the development of a planned residential and commercial community in lower Manhattan. While the contracts we reviewed were generally awarded in accordance with applicable laws and guidelines, certain improvements were needed in the processes used to solicit and evaluate proposals from prospective contractors. In our follow-up review, we found that our prior audit recommendations have been implemented.
