Office of Operations
The Office of Operations is responsible for providing leadership in financial management and fiscal accountability by:
- Engaging in accounting and financial reporting services;
- Auditing state contracts, expenditures and payrolls prior to payment;
- Carrying out the mandates of the Abandoned Property Law by safeguarding lost assets belonging to residents;
- Maintaining the State’s current Central Accounting System, and engaging in an initiative to replace the 20 year old System (SFS Program).
The Office of Operations is comprised of two Divisions (the Division of Payroll, Accounting and Revenue Services and the Division of Contracts and Expenditures), and the Bureau of Shared Services which provides administrative support to the Office.
